Refund policy

Deposits are refunded in full or not at all. There are no partial refunds. This page lists every case.

Last updated 30 October 2026

You get a full refund when

  • The restaurant declines your booking.
  • The restaurant does not answer in time. Each restaurant has a response window, 15 minutes by default.
  • The restaurant cancels a booking it had confirmed.
  • You cancel before the restaurant has answered.
  • You cancel a confirmed booking early enough. Each restaurant sets how many hours ahead that is, 24 hours by default.
  • Your payment reaches us after the 10 minute hold on your table has expired, or after the booking was cancelled.

The restaurant keeps the deposit when

  • You cancel a confirmed booking later than the restaurant's free-cancellation window.
  • You do not show up.

If you dine, the deposit is not an extra cost: it counts against your bill. The restaurant owner marks a booking as completed or as a no-show.

How a refund is paid

Refunds go back to the payment method you used. They are issued through our payment provider, Paddle, which approves each refund, and your bank decides how soon the money shows. A refund is requested the moment one of the cases above applies. You do not have to ask.

Your bookings page shows the state of the refund while it is pending.

If something looks wrong

If you think a refund is missing or a no-show was marked in error, email [NEXT_PUBLIC_SUPPORT_EMAIL not set] with the date and the restaurant. Nothing on this page limits any right you have under the law where you live.
